CLIMATE TRANSPARENCY REPORT: COMPARING G20 CLIMATE ACTION TOWARDS NET ZERO
Climate Transparency Report: Comparing G20 climate action towards net zero Mexico’s conditional 2020 NDC target would increase emissions to 45% above 1990 levels, or to approximately 638 MtCO2e, by 2030. To keep below the 1.5˚C temperature limit, Mexico’s 2030 emissions would need to be around 383 MtCO2e (or 13% above 1990 levels), leaving an ambition gap of 255 MtCO2e. All figures exclude land use emissions. Gütschow et al., 2021; Climate Analytics, 2021 Descargar
